LINKS Magazine Photo Contest

There is more than one kind of shot on a golf course. Even if you can’t hit high draws or wind-cheating knockdowns, you can still make some beautiful shots—with a camera.

LINKS has always been about beautiful golf course photography that makes you want to book the next flight and play the layout. You can buy all the shirts at the shop when you play a scenic course, but there is no better memento than a beautiful photograph that provides an immediate sense of time and place.

No doubt, you bring a camera when you visit these great golf destinations, and we invite you to share your course pictures with us and the rest of our readers by entering the first LINKS Magazine Photo Contest.

The winner will be determined by a panel of judges consisting of LINKS Art Director Tim Carr and contributing photographers Aidan Bradley, Russell Kirk, Larry Lambrecht and Iain Lowe.

We will present the winner in the November/December issue. And we’re not talking about burying it inside the magazine. The winning photo will appear on the cover, where your masterpiece will be seen by all.

So here is your chance to show that you have all the shots on the course.

>> Meet the judges
>> Get photography tips from LINKS' Art Director
>> Complete rules and instructions
>> Entry form and photo upload

The deadline for entries is September 1, 2009.
