8. See a Clubfitter

Yes, you should be properly fit for new clubs. But if you already made that purchase, you should still go see a clubfitter to check if there any distance gaps in your clubs. Most of us have some and don’t even know it. Plus, years of hitting balls off mats or tight turf can alter the loft and lie of your clubs—get those checked as well. And then cross those items of the excuse list.
