The day after Thanksgiving, an army of decorators descend upon the beachfront Sanctuary hotel near Charleston, S.C., and in a 24 hours turn it into holiday wonderland with 18 fully decorated trees, including a 25-foot tree in the main lobby and nine reindeer (Rudolf included) that were custom designed and handmade out of grapevine. The porte-cochere is draped with 120 feet of one-of-a-kind, custom-designed, handmade garland.
