It takes a 10-person crew four months to string the 1.5 million lights spread around the grounds of the Lodge, located on the shores of Lake Oconee. Also on display is the biggest gingerbread house in the South. The hotel’s pastry team uses 400 pounds of icing, 200 pounds of honey and 150 pounds of flour to build the 10-foot-wide by 14-foot-high candy-coated domicile.
