Bipartisanship might be at an all-time low, but golf is one sport that both Democrats and Republicans can get behind. It doesn’t matter whether they favored the right side or left side of the political fairway, presidents of both parties have enjoyed the game dating back to William Howard Taft in 1908. In fact, 15 of the last 18 presidents were golfers. Mitt Romney does not play, however, but perhaps he should: Since 1980, all the non-golfing candidates have lost.
