Testers loved the look and feel of the club, although the “uni-flex” shaft (the club comes in one shaft because it is targeted toward 10-plus handicaps) took a little getting used to. “The fat shaft looked a little weird at address,” says a 21, “but I got past it quickly when I saw how far I was hitting it.” Using the steel shafts, our panelists were 10 yards longer on average. The club was plenty forgiving, too. “They really saved my bad hits,” says an 11. “The shaft felt a little stiff, but I could play with these.”
