His company’s new Polarity MTR may not let you hit shots as high as Nicklaus—or even a regular pro—but it will help you hit higher, straighter shots. “The large face and offset really gave me confidence over the ball,” says an 18. “My bad shots seemed to be less to the right than usual, with a bit more distance.” The key to the clubs’ forgiveness is its unique weight distribution— engineers thought outside the club and placed a weight under the hosel to increase the club’s moment of inertia, which the company claims is the highest in an iron to date.
