No doubt you've performed that experiment with your putter where you balance the shaft on your fingertip to see if the model is face-balanced or toe-heavy. Problem is, you don't putt with the head in either position. You putt with the toe up and the face perpendicular to the target line.

The Axis 1 finds that position naturally by placing a heel weight ahead of the face, thereby keeping the center of gravity exactly in line with the axis of the shaft and sweetspot on the face.
