Even in the best conditions a golf course can be tough on your shoes and feet. The wet ground, walking, and all the twisting and turning can really take their toll. Most golf shoes do a good job of letting the upper foot breathe but not the bottom, the part that gets the hottest and wettest.
Geox, Italy’s leading footwear manufacturer and the second worldwide in the lifestyle-casual segment, has stepped up with the solution. The company’s new golf collection features a patented “Net System,” a perforated rubber outsole topped by a micro-porous inner membrane. The micro-pores are smaller than water molecules but bigger than vapor molecules, allowing feet to perspire and heat and humidity to escape but keeping water out.
Other features include a thermoplastic polyurethane torsion system for better fit and flexibility and a fast-twist cleat system for maximum traction and easy replacement, as well as a lightweight molded midsole that provides cushioning without sacrificing stability.
Of course, since they’re from Italy, the shoes not only work really well but look great too.
