LOCATION Carnoustie, Scotland HOLES No. 16, par 3, 250 yards
No. 17, par 4, 459 yards (pictured)
No. 18, par 4, 499 yards
NICKNAME None (Suggestion: Carnasty Finish) The most difficult course in the British Open rota, Carnoustie features a stern finishing stretch. The 16th hole is nicknamed Barry Burn, but the burn, which winds its way through the final three holes, figures in most prominently on the 18th, where it is in play both off the tee and into the green.
