These tight tree-lined finishing holes feature a dogleg left, followed by a dogleg right and conclude with another dogleg left. The 18th hole has been the scene of much U.S. Open drama, most recently in 2006, when Phil Mickelson made a double bogey on the 72nd hole to finish tied for second, one behind Geoff Ogilvy.
