|Olympic Club (Lake)
In 2012 the club will host its fifth U.S. Open on the Lake course, which features fiercely sloping fairways and small, well-guarded greens. The course has been the site of two of golf's biggest upsets—tragic losses by Ben Hogan (1955) and Arnold Palmer (1966).

The premier course in his hometown of Fort Worth held very positive memories for Hogan. After finishing third in the 1941 U.S. Open at Colonial, he won five PGA Tour events at the layout, which came to be known as "Hogan's Alley."
