There is no prevailing wind on the course, which Pete Dye took into affect when designing the course, making multiple tees to adhere to the different conditions. Players can experience up to an eight-club difference depending on the direction and the strength of the wind. The course can stretch to close to 8,000 yards when played from all the back tees.
