Basketball is the President's first love, but golf is a game he takes seriously. Although he is the eighth left-hander in the White House, Obama is the first First Golfer to play left-handed. Despite his singular place in American history, Obama is very much the everyday golfer: With a homemade swing, he uses clubs that are several years old, plays primarily at public courses and wears plain, solid shirts and cargo shorts.
