Deadlocked at 9-under par after 72 holes on a cool, misty Sunday at Augusta National, Adam Scott and former Masters champ Angel Cabrera marched back to the 18th tee for a sudden-death playoff. Both men parred the hole. On the second playoff hole, Scott and Cabrera both hit the green at No. 10 with their second shots. Cabrera’s birdie putt narrowly missed, but Scott sank his putt and roared with joy to become the first Australian to win the Masters.
