Tom Watson shows no signs of slowing down on or off the course. On the course he almost shot his age in the final round at the Senior PGA Championship in May when he carded a 65, one off the magic number, and he's teeing it up this week with the youngsters at The Greenbrier Classic. Off the course, Tom Terrifc starred in one of the most successful instruction videos of all time and now has come out with a sequel with more than 20 new lessons.
In his breezy, easy-to-understand style, the eight-time major champion covers many advanced topics, including handling pressure, head movement, and the 40-yard wedge shot (above). There’s also spots on “The Secret” (keeping the hip crease at impact), practice shots for the course you’re about to play, and nine lessons and drills on putting. Combined with the first video, the nearly 70 lessons are a great way to begin each golf season, or even serve as a refresher midway through, to re-educate yourself on the important fundamentals and the more advanced nuances.
Shot at The Greenbrier and directed by the Emmy-winning Terry Jastrow, the video also has very high production values. Of course, you wouldn’t expect anything less from a class act like Watson.
