The Cobb Course, continuously given high marks by both Golf Week and Golf Digest, is considered to be one of architect George Cobb Sr.’s finest achievements. A one million dollar upgrade in 2003 re-
established the Cobb Course but maintained the course history and original design features. The par 72 course is visually striking, with rolling fairways framed by mature forest. This course boasts 54 sand bunkers, eight lakes, a 200-foot elevation change and unsurpassed beauty. Our signature 16th hole features a demanding 419 yard par 4 with three forced carries from tee to green. Practice facilities are available as well as private instruction and clinics taught by our PGA professionals.
The Stonehaven Golf Course is one of the most dramatic new courses the Mid-Atlantic region has seen in years. Owned by the Glade Springs Property Owners’ Association, this private course opened in September of 2003. The mountain venue of this Ault, Clark & Associates design features elevation changes of up to 80 feet per hole and some of the most scenic views in West Virginia. The topography features striking rock outcroppings and the course loops around both sides of the 69-acre Chatham Lake. Limited tee times are available through Glade Springs Hotel and Conference Resort.
