23. Walker Golf Course

Clemson University
Clemson, S.C.

Tiger paws are ubiquitous at Clemson, including at the 17th hole of the university's Walker Course. Designed by D.J. DeVictor, the 6,911-yard Walker Course finishes along Lake Hartwell, highlighted by the “Tiger Paw” hole, a 192-yard par 3 with a green complex shaped like a paw. While most college courses are named for significant donors, the Walker course is named for John E. Walker, who graduated in 1926.
