Consistently ranked among the best layouts in the state, the Championship Golf Course at the University of New Mexico fits with the expansive topography of the area. Opened in 1967, the course still plays plenty long at 7,272 yards while offering views of Albuquerque and the Rio Grande Valley. The Red Lawrence-designed course is part of the Santa Fe Golf Trail.
