10. Finley Golf Course

University of North Carolina
Chapel Hill, N.C.

The first golf course at the University of North Carolina dates from 1949. But the original design by George Cobb received a complete makeover by Tom Fazio nearly 50 years later. Essentially a new course, the updated Finley layout now measures 7,328 yards and is not only a great test for the men’s and women’s teams, but is also a must-play in a state full of worthy destinations.
