11. Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex (Kampen)

Pete Dye returned to Indiana, where he won the State Amateur in 1958, to design a visually arresting, challenging layout that has hosted numerous events in its 15-year history, including the 2004 Indiana Open and last year’s NCAA Championships. Numerous school departments, including forestry, entomology and agronomy, were involved in the project, in which students helped in the construction. The other course at Purdue is Ackerman Hills, site of the 1961 NCAA Championships.
