At his first course in the New York City metropolitan area, Pete Dye routed a 7,171-yard layout on a site that included forest, wetlands and plenty of rocks, including a prominent boulder called “Pete's Rock” that blocks the the view of the fairway from the tee of the par-5 13th hole.
