ARCHITECT	Arnold Palmer
ON THE TEE	Arnold Palmer attended college at Wake Forest, but he built his first collegiate layout at ACC rival N.C. State. In addition to being the home of the varsity golf teams, the facility is a laboratory for the school’s turfgrass and professional golf management programs.
