George Wright Golf Course

LOCATION Boston
ARCHITECT Donald Ross
Named for a Hall of Fame baseball player from the 1800s, the course is located in the Hyde Park section of Boston and opened in 1938 after receiving WPA funding to complete construction. The city took over operational control in 2004 after decades of contracted management. The challenge of the relatively short course comes from the significant hills that come into play on half the holes.
