Harbour Town

No. 18, Par Four

Instantly recognizable by its red-and-white-striped lighthouse rising directly behind the green, coupled with its panoramic views of Calibogue Sound, this Lowcountry closer, stretched to 472 yards for competitors in this week’s RBC Heritage event, is perhaps the finest finishing hole ever built by Pete Dye. The tee boxes, landing area, and putting surface on this daunting, windswept par four occupy promontories indented by the salt marsh, creating risk-reward scenarios from start to finish.
