There’s just something about the Sonoran Desert that soothes the senses, never more so than when it's interspersed with emerald ribbons of fairway. The appeal is particularly inviting if you’re seeing it on TV from the frozen north, as is the case in many parts of the country this week as the top 64 players in the world compete in the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship at Dove Mountain near Tucson.
