Where's Millie

Answer: the 370-yard 17th at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass.

Francis Ouimet, who grow up right across the street from the hole, birdied the 17th in the final round of the 1913 U.S. Open to tie leaders Harry Vardon and Ted Ray, then birdied it again in the playoff to cement his victory.

The U.S. Open and Ryder Cup course is a composite course of the club's three nines.

After Justin Leonard sank an uphill, 45-footer all but clinching the 1999 Ryder Cup, the U.S. team stormed the green before Jose Maria Olazabal had a chance to make his 25-foot putt to keep the Europeans' hopes alive.
