Opened in 2009, Punta Mita’s second Nicklaus-designed course features more undulating fairways and more heavily contoured greens than Pacifico. Same onshore breeze, same fine mountain views, only with enhanced slopes to accentuate the challenge. With five holes set beside the sea and two more with ocean views, Bahia presents a sturdy yet scenic test from the tips at 7,035 yards (par 72). The most memorable hole is the par-four 15th, which offers panoramic views of Banderas Bay and the distant Puerto Vallarta skyline.
