Tell us about your favorite destinations with the LINKS Travel Poll

I have flown 448,465 miles on Delta Air Lines—and probably half that on other carriers. Most of those miles have taken me to golf destinations: no-brainers like Pebble Beach and St. Andrews, departed favorites like the (R.I.P) Desert Inn in Las Vegas, and less obvious addresses like Windswept Dunes Golf Club, the creation of "Dozer" Doug O'Rourke, not to mention a cemetery outside Daejeon, South Korea, where a teenage Se Ri Pak spent the night as part of the training regimen prescribed by her father. (I lasted 10 minutes.)

When I visit these places, I bring along some travel-related quirks and pet peeves—for example, I hate carrying around small bills at a resort and feeling obligated to reach into my pocket every time an employee makes eye contact with me. I would prefer if the hotel just added a service fee covering every conceivable service—housekeeping, valet parking, beverage cart—to my bill, the way they do with room service.

Of course, if worrying about gratuities is my biggest complaint, little else went wrong during the visit and my resort experience was pretty good—and I've had a lot of great ones.

But enough about me. I want to know more about you. Summer is halfway over, which means you either have been on a golf trip or are planning one. While your thoughts are on travel, I want to take this opportunity to direct you to the 2007 LINKS Travel Poll. It consists of 25 travel-related multiple-choice questions that are quick and easy to answer.

I know you don't really need any further urging to tell us about your travel habits, like and dislikes, and where you want to go next. But to sweeten the deal, we will automatically enter you in a drawing to win a Callaway driver as a reward for your participation.

We will print the responses in our November/December issue. So thanks for your help, and I look forward to your answers.
