What makes a house “green”?

ANSWER: There are many ways to define a “green” house, but they all come down to three basic factors: they are good for the environment, they are good for people, and they make good economic sense. Green homes conserve building materials, cut energy costs, conserve resources, take advantage of renewable energy and make healthier living environments.
