Golf instruction has gone high-tech, what with launch monitors, tiny snap-on sensors, smartphone apps, and the like. So it was only a matter of time that teaching itself went from face-to-face to screen-to-screen. Welcome to the "Virtual Golf Performance Summit," to be held May 18-19—on your computer. As the summit’s website puts it, the plan is for “two uninterrupted days of discussion and collaboration…accessible to anyone with an internet connection.” Among the virtual speakers are many top-name teachers, including Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott, Chuck Cook, Stan Utley, Dr. Debbie Crews, Claude Harmon III, and others covering swing, mental, and physical improvement. Along with their presentations, speakers will conduct live Q&A sessions, and there also will be giveaways, a virtual exhibit hall, and downloads of product and company information. Everything you need to know, including registration—a discounted early-bird special ends tomorrow, March 15—is on the website. Of course.
