What would a week of Buzz be without an item about Donald Trump? It seems that at the Jerusalem International Tourism Summit last month, Israeli Tourism Minister Uzi Landau passed along a rumor he'd recently heard: That Trump would build a golf course in Israel, in Ashkelon. (The tiny country already has two courses, including an 18-holer in Caesarea that Pete Dye redesigned a few years ago.) “I’m holding my breath,” Landau said, his accent just strong enough to leave it ambiguous whether there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice. The Donald has planted his flag in some interesting places, including Scotland, and he has plans to manage the under-construction landfill course in Ferry Point Park beneath the Whitestone Bridge in the Bronx, New York. But Israel? If it does happen, it's unlikely he'll be able to name the course after an ancestor.
